    ENTICING EATS – MELISSE One of the Finest Restaurants in the World


    FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE

    When you’re visiting Los Angeles and searching for an award winning culinary experience, look no further than Melisse Restaurant in Santa Monica.

    As you enter Melisse, you’ll notice that there are no windows, containing and focusing your senses on the culinary journey that is to follow. Melisse’s contemporary French cuisine is paired with an impressive wine list, providing an elegantly tailored experience for even the most discerning palates. Each dish tells a story of perfect, meticulous preparation that is orchestrated by an impressive service team. Each member of the service team plays a pivotal role in bringing you through a culinary story that only Melisse can tell.

    My guest and I chose the coursed menu, which gave us the opportunity to choose many items to share. The following dishes were standouts on the menu:

    Egg Caviar

    Soft poached egg, lemon-chive crème frâiche, american osetra caviar.

    Seared Foie Gras

    Pachichi cherries, salted coffee, pain d’epice

    Lobster Bolognese

    Fresh capellini, basil, brown butter truffle froth

    Kagoshima Wagyu Beef Filet

    Charred leek, oxtail ravioli

    FROMAGE

    A Selection of Fine Cheeses

    Each dish was unique, colorful, and very flavorful. The wine selection was amazing, including a couple of particularly great finds, and our Sommelier was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations.

    A culinary inspiration, Melisse is not just a restaurant, but an education in what can truly be experienced by epicures and connoisseurs alike.

    PUMP Restaurant


    Nestled within the trees and hidden in the heart of West Hollywood, PUMP is a magical escape with an ever-changing menu paired with signature cocktails and the infamous Vanderpump Sangria. Pump boasts a floor plan that gives guests unique options for their culinary adventure.

    Having the opportunity to dine with guests, GM Arthur Kanai walked us through suggested dinner options that were paired with selected wines by the glass. Kansai expressed his love for the restaurant and his boss saying, "Lisa has done an unbelievable job with PUMP. It's an instant classic, one of the rare gems in Los Angeles that provides the experience to transport a guest into another world, in this case, a fairytale”.

    The ambiance was amazing and the whole restaurant was decorated beautifully. The staff members wear pink shirts and are not too bad to look at! I had the filet mignon and it was one of the best steaks I have had. Well done LVP and PUMP staff for making my birthday memorable.
