Celebrating Athletic Achievements in Luxurious Style

On July 18, 2022, Luxury Experience & Co. celebrated athletic achievement and collaborated with the V Foundation to spread cancer awareness at the beautiful Petersen Automotive Museum. The event hosted athletes and celebrities alike, while featuring luxury brands. We're so happy to work with these brands this year and hope you check them out!

Andar

When they first started their journey in 2015, they set out to make something unique and minimal that would last. With Andar being a Spanish verb
meaning "to carry", their goal is to minimize and organize what you carry. Over the years, this sentiment has pushed them to create unique designs for everyday carry goods that they believe are practical and stylish. They believe in creating handcrafted goods using the highest quality materials. Altec Lansing

Founded in 1927, Altec Lansing is a audio electronics company that got their start in film with the release of The Jazz Singer when they developed the technology for the motion picture sound. Today, their primary products are loudspeakers and associated audio electronics for professional, home, automotive and multimedia applications. Popular loudspeakers included the Altec Lansing Duplex 600-series coaxial loudspeaker, studio monitors from the 1940s to the 1980s, and the Altec "Voice of the Theatre" line of loudspeakers widely used in movie theaters, concert halls. and also in rock concerts from the 1960s to the 1990s, such as custom designs used at Woodstock Festival. Guests were gifted special headphones made by Altec Lansing, and we hope they enjoy jamming to tunes with crystal clear tones.

Jazz Guetta Artist

Artist Jazz Guetta, based in Los Angeles, was born into a multi-cultural family, immersive and supportive of the arts. Jazz attended California Institute of the Arts, studying sculpture and painting. In the following three years he became an apprentice to various renowned artists. Although Jazz has been around art his entire life, Jazz’s own life in art started when he was in an accident that left him temporarily wheelchair bound. When Jazz was released from the hospital and arrived home, his father transformed the living room into a wheelchair accessible studio. Jazz’s restricted movement, obliged his arms to compensate and exaggerate expressing his emotions. Spray paint was the sole medium Jazz desired to paint with; its’ propulsion extended his range of movements, thus allowing him to express farther than any other medium. His large gestural strokes animate the boldness of movement and motion. The technique Jazz developed and absorbed through injury, consists of many overlapping sprays in vibrant and neutral colors, existing on their own, as well as coming together to make something bigger as a whole. The pain Jazz endured cultivated his passion, urging him to abandon all apprenticeships to focus on his ideas. He now stands on his own two feet and has painted murals all over the United States. We were honored to feature Jazz at our event.

Members Only

Members Only is a brand of clothing that became popular in the 1980s with its line of jackets. The brand was created in 1975 and introduced to American markets in 1980 by Europe Craft Imports. Members Only racer jackets were distinguished by their narrow epaulets and collar strap and their knitted trim; they were manufactured in a wide variety of colors. Their advertising tagline was "when you put it on, something happens". In the 2010s, Members Only continued to launch seasonal collections carried at online retailers as well as brick and mortar stores such as Urban Outfitters. It is one of the staples of popular culture and is one of the most notable and memorable street brands.

Nu Esthetics Spa is a woman-owned, boutique spa located in the heart of Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, California. Every service is completely customized with formulations and combinations unique to each client that walks through the door. They specialize in endermologie, facials, airbrush body tanning, body waxing, peels, and various forms of body massage. They know that being your true self, means treating yourself. Orleans Coffee

We host a lot of events in a year, working hard to make sure each one is as amazing and successful as the last is hard and tiring work. That’s why we rely on the best coffee around to energize us. Orleans Coffee, a New Orleans based coffee roaster, was founded in 1985 as one of the first specialty coffee companies to offer coffees via mail order. And they’ve been selling on the Web since 1997. They specialize in small batch roasting high quality coffee and espresso. The Perfect Jean

They were a conglomerate of mostly imperfect men (and a couple of extra perfect ladies) who set out on a mission. Their mission was to find a reasonably-priced stretch jean that they could comfortably wear all-day every day - whether working at the office, lounging on the couch, watching tv, busting olleys in a skate park, salsa dancing, squatting at the gym, squatting on the toilet, doing yoga poses, dunking a basketball like Bron Bron, sprinting full speed to the bar to grab a beer then getting too wasted and balling out Coyote Ugly style, etc. They successfully accomplished this mission. Therefore, they named their company “The Perfect Jean” (or TPJ to friends).

Tommy Bahama

Tommy Bahama is a world famous clothing brand with over 160 stores worldwide, 14 of which include a restaurant and bar. In 2007, the brand took their first steps into the liquor business and their endeavors became hugely successful. Since the launch of their first launch of alcohol, the company has release award-winning varieties of vodka and whiskey. At our Athlete gifting lounge event, we happily featured their “Tommy Travelers” -- Spirit Sparklers which are a fusion of their fine Tommy Bahama Vodka with tropical inspired natural flavors and bubbles. We are so happy to collaborate with this famous brand, as their values of style and sustainability greatly align with our own company’s values.

Zen Water

Zen Water’s goal is to clean up our oceans, while also spreading awareness of the plastic that harms our waters. They make their bottles from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic. V Foundation

This year, Luxury Experience & Co collaborated with the V Foundation for our Athletes and Celebrity gifting lounge. The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®. Since its formation in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded nearly $290 million in cancer research grants nationwide and has grown to become one of the premier supporters of cutting-edge cancer research. Due to generous donors, the Foundation has an endowment that covers administrative expenses. With roots in sports and wellness for all, we couldn’t be more proud and excited to team up with this wonderful foundation.
